The Customer & Distributor MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a customized 
database program to help you manage your (MLM-Multi Level Marketing)
business. The program is very powerful and loaded with many features
such as Customer & Distributor profiles, Follow_Up, Labels, Reports
$ Invoices. All program features are menu driven for ease of
use. Even the computer beginner will be up and running in a matter
of minutes. This particular demo is set up for Independent 
Herbalife distributors but will work for all types of MLM
businesses. The program can be customized for any type of MLM or
sales business with minor changes. The author WELCOMES any input
to make the program specific to a particular business.

NOTE: This file (DHERB.EXE) is a self-installing archive. This 
application is a DOS based program but has also been configured
to run within WINDOWS.

**** It is very important that your CONFIG.SYS file contain the
following two lines FILES=40 & BUFFERS=40. The number for files
and buffers may be greater than 40 but no less. ****

After the install run the README file (Type README then press Enter
from the HLDEMO directory) to get a basic overview of the program 
and instructions on getting started. You may print the entire manual
out after the program has been installed on the hard drive. The 
manual is about 50 pages and will give you all the details for each
menu option along with tips and suggestions. See README file for
printing instructions.

WINDOWS INSTALL
===============

1. Click File|Run from the Windows Program Manager menu.
2. Type in the command line box the path where the file was
   downloaded to followed by DHERB -d C:\
   Example--> C:\AOL20\DOWNLOAD\DHERB -d C:\
3. Click OK and the program will be installed on your hard drive
   in a directory called HLDEMO.
4. After the install run the README file to learn how to start
   and get a basic overview of the program.

DOS INSTALL
===========

1. At the DOS prompt C:\> change the directory to the one with
   DHERB.EXE file (probably C:\AOL20\DOWNLOAD)
   EXAMPLE--> CD\C:\AOL20\DOWNLOAD
2. Type DHERB -d C:\ The program will be installed on your hard
   drive in a directory called HLDEMO.
3. After the install run the README file to learn how to start
   and get a basic overview of the program.

The main menu has 6 primary selections to choose from. Several
sub menu selections may be under each heading to help you further
target specific tasks. The main menu selections are Cards,
FollowUp, Labels, Reports, Invoices & Utilities. List below is
a brief description of these headings.
                                                
Cards-> are electronic index cards that contain personal information
on a customer or distributor. Each card has an area where you may 
record your follow up notes. The program keeps all notes in a 
chronological order so you may review a person history with ease.
Enter the next follow up date to contact this person and they will
be placed on a list for follow up calls on that date.

FollowUp-> sorts through all Customer & Distributor Cards and 
compiles a list of individuals scheduled for a follow-up call on
any given date. The list could be sent to the screen or the printer.

Labels-> will output a list of mailing labels for your newsletters,
correspondence or any other creative reason you may think of.
Choose from your customers, distributors or miscellaneous names to
start as your base list. From this list you may further select a
more exact list (i.e.,Active Customers or 1st Line Distributors). 

Reports-> gives you insight into how your business is growing 
financially & statistically. It tracks where your customers are
coming from and how much product they are buying. A detailed financial 
report for customer & distributor invoice activity is achievable over 
any time period. Distributors volumes are summated and kept readily
available so you may manage your peop
